Mek Ade Tok?

Boo!

At one point I was considering giving up the whole Blog thing altogether. I havent really been inspired to write given my current situation. But I have to say, things are picking up around here. In fact, I'd say that things are going pretty well for me.

Since my exile to the East Coast, I've been slowly rebuilding my life; meeting new friends, making my house (not home) as comfortable as possible and trying to find a way to pass my time. At one point I was even considering going to KL on a weekly basis just to take my mind off my life here. But looks like I may not have to after all.

Weekly activities such has little home improvement projects, washing my car, indoor soccer with the colleagues, church and my "best Tom Yam in town" project have given me some sense of comfort. I guess one has to make the best of what he's been given.

I wouldnt consider Terengganu for the long haul. I just cant imagine having a wife and bringing up children here. Safety is one of the major concerns, and the other would be education. Just to sum everything up, the whole environment is just not what I would like to see my children being exposed to.

But until then, all I can do is to make myself as comfortable as possible, staying alive and sane.

Here are the exploits of my Friday afternoon.....

THE SIMPLE LIFE:

Fishing boats along Pantai Kijal

Forget the phi-phi islands!!

Visit Malaysia 2007. :p

I miss being artsy fartsy.

Satiesh exercises his bakar skills.

Budding fishermen.

Preparing bait......bashed up hermit crabs. *gag*

Trying out the local favourite.....LEKOR.

Adios!

Dude, the watermark isnt there for aesthetic value. It's there for copyright purposes.

And no, you are not allowed to digitally manipulate them.

of coz its for copyright purposes
but would be good if it was aestethically pleasing or at least stood out so its visible as your work

perhaps also consider semi-transparent watermarking over the middle of the image? (ala photoshutter etc). Thus would make sure your images were protected even from digital theft using image cropping

the thought never ever crossed my mind. really ;)
