Wow, just when you've felt so far away, you suddenly get a gentle reminder that He's up there watching over you.

I had some "Praise the Lord" moments yesterday which seemed to have come out of nowhere and in a flood as well. It's true when they say that being in adverse conditions allows you to appreciate the simple things in life better. Even more inspiration to thank the Lord for each and every living day.

One of them happened when I was waiting for Satiesh to get his Ramli burger ayam campur banjo. We just discovered the burger stall last week and realized that they were pretty darn good. No food poisoning afterwards as an added bonus as well. Little things like that bring me so much comfort inside especially after the immense frustration of being here.

Thank you God for (in random order)...

1) That burger store in front of our house
2) Bringing me back safely from KL even after leaving so late
3) Loving parents
4) An absolutely amazing and beautiful soulmate
5) A pleasant (albeit homogeneous) bunch of colleagues
6) Strange sightings (like elephants on the roadside) once in a while
7) Good friend(s) to help me get through the day
